I had a LOT of trouble having him keep his splint on even with a cone, he managed to destroy 2 splints within a week, but they were quick to come up with an alternative to this. My 13-year old girl tore another ACL! Two years we did the first TPLO surgery and it went ok, this time we did the surgery with Dr. Julia and it is INCREDIBLE. My girl is 13 years old and the recovery has been beyond easy for her and for me :-) The incision site is pristine, she was able to put weight on her leg the next day and she's walking very well only 2 weeks later. My dog had to have orthopedic surgery. I was a nervous wreck until I talked to Dr. Mauterer. He was so caring and knowledgeable. Roscoe stayed three nights and had excellent care. Dr. Mauterer called as soon as surgery was done and explained everything to me and gladly answered my questions. He went above and beyond and we are forever grateful for the exceptional care Roscoe got. I can’t say enough good about Dr. Mauterer and his entire staff!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
