Everyone in the Oncology Dept at the Veterinary Health Center were excellent in their care for our dog, Fiona. It was a sad day today as we finally made the decision it was time to let her go. With the help of Drs. Higgenbotham, Shepherd, and Klocke, as well as all the senior year students at the Vet Center, she fought a mighty battle with the cancer, but it finally won. We wanted something good to come out of all this, so we made the decision to donate her body to the Vet Health Center for teaching purposes. We would encour... read more

Loved our visit at the Vet Health Center. Dr. Ouda and all the other people that we met with were very caring. The doctor listened very well when I detailed our history and intertwined the test results into the history when we received our discharge papers. She also explained everything completely and made sure that we understood. I needed to make a call the day after our visit to ask about a side effect and got through to another doctor almost immediately. She knew our dog and was very reassuring. This was definitely an exc... read more

We did not get the results we had hoped but finally knowing what is wrong with our cat after 4 months of testing, we can finally start just enjoying the time we have left with her. The student and vet we saw were wonderful. I cannot even begin to put into words how very blessed I feel to have had the student and vet providing care for our girl. They were gentle and caring. Even when we had to be told our fur baby has cancer, they took the time to show the test results and offer options for treatment and care, even though sta... read more

We brought Leo in yesterday thinking he might have parvo! Luckily they ran test and he was negative. They explained everything and what was going to happen next : bloodwork and IV of fluids for our puppy to keep him hydrated since he wasn't eating or drinking. They also sent us home with antibiotics and a TON of food to feed him and he loves it! Love this place and trust them so much with our 9 week old pup! Thanks for taking care of him and constantly keeping us updated and explaining what the next steps were!

My dog Hank was transferred to K State yesterday for intensive care and extensive surgery. Every person has treated Hank and the rest of our family with the utmost respect and importance. Our 4th year Landon and resident Dr Chen from emergency have gone above and beyond to help him. Thank you K State Vets for helping our boy. We will never forgot your kindness. I will recommend your hospital to anyone who needs care for their animals. -Angela Thiel Lincoln, Ne

When my 4 month old bulldog puppy, Bogey, broke his elbow I couldn't have asked for a better experience than what I received at Kstate emergency vet. Landon McQuilliams was the senior vet student on Bogey's case and he was awesome!! He called me with updates, was available when I had questions, even after discharge and genuinely cared about my little man. He will make an extraordinary vet!! Penny at the front desk was very welcoming and calming from the minute I walked in the door. 5 stars all around!!
