I would rate the team at VEG in Northern Liberties a 100/10 if able. I brought my dachshund in for ingestion of a foreign object and the team was nothing short of amazing. I got to watch the entire team in action as they worked non-stop to save every single animal that came through that door all while consoling their owners and assisting on cases other than their own when it got busy. It started with Hazel at the front. Then Nurse Christy Then Dr Bogle I q I went to express my thankfulness for the kindness that they showed me when I bought my dog Inky in. It was the worst time of my entire life and I believe they went out of their way to calm me down and to help me feel better about the situation.. they were all kind and loving. From the moment we walked in, every single staff member—from security to the front desk, vet techs, and veterinarians—was incredibly sweet, compassionate, and caring. This was my first time here with my almost 13 week old puppy and we were instantly taken to the back where I got to stay with her the whole time while they triage her, went over the treatment plan and then proceeded to do the treatments. They even have rooms where you can stay with your pet overnight if they need to be hospitalized. The doctors, nurses and front deck are amazing and very informative when they talk to you. I brought my 17 year old dog in there on Friday because she passed out the day before. Well they welcomed me with open arms. Rushed Princess in. Did a brief evaluation and immediately put her on oxygen. The doctor came in and performed an Ultrasound on her. The doctor said she has a large heart murmur, heart failure and liquid in her lungs. She recommended some tests that would cost around $1500. I couldn’t afford it.
