I'd been to two other vets (one for exotics) but Bell was having some issues and I wanted a real BIRD DOCTOR! Dr. Thielen saw bell walk and said "He's not walking right. He's in pain" and that wasn't even one of the issues I brought him in for. I thought that was normal. If you have an exotic pet, you can't live without the VCBE. Dr. Hess and her staff have been taking care of my birds for five years now, and the care has been incredible. I know my birds are getting the very best care. From the waiting room throughout the exam and treatment, the entire staff is very warm and caring.
We've had excellent experiences at the Veterinary Center for Birds & Exotics! We've learned a lot about the particular care, nutrition and supplements for all our pets (birds & guinea pig) - we see the difference in all of them. We now know why it's so important to go to a specialist!!! Everyone is so helpful & compassionate.
