Dr. Elizabeth Powell is a God send. She has been working with James since 2014. The moment Elizabeth stepped in the picture, James did a 180 degree turn...He no longer wanted to drink or do drugs. He was in full agreement of taking the correct medications and he did respond to her exact directions. She has made my life as a caretaker so much better and I do not believe that I could of had this progress with James without Elizabeth and God. Thank you Dr. Powell for helping me save James life.
I have been a patient at this hospital since 2003. I have always received superior care here at the VA. Doctors, nurses, and staff have been courteous, attentive, and knowledgeable. Many veterans that come to any VA have concerns and others are in need of mental health services. So not all reviews will be 5 stars. However I do give 5 stars to these amazing people (and service therapy dogs as well).
During the last two years I have been served in multiple ways - cancer lung biopsy, bone biopsy, have received over eleven days of Radiation - have had positive tests - my cancer is in-check. I Have been found to have Heart arteries with multiple blockages, two with 70% blockage, then a main artery having a 90% blockage. This VA has been more than Excellent - I HAVE ZERO COMPLAINTS - THESE FOLKS ARE GREAT!
