I was super excited for my kit for my c4 corvette. Unfortunately I was rather let down. First off it took almost 4 months for me to actually recieve my kit. Then I come to find out that the “direct bolt on, no modification needed” isn’t true. I had to cut my original hinges in order to mount this kit. Then after the kit was mounted it wouldn’t stay in place. Every time I went to put the door down it would move the door out of alignment. So I had to weld the bracket into place. I have ordered and self installed a C7 Corvette Vertical door kit on my convertible. The kit is a top quality product and great tech help if needed I am looking forward to doing a C8 install later this year. Just waiting on my Corvette to be made and delivered.
