Food was delicious, service was excellent, and the prices were good. We enjoyed Fried Green Tomatoes, Sadie’s Grilled Chicken, and the Bourbon Bacon Cheeseburger. Looking forward to our next trip to Morganfield.
We have been thru Morganfield many times and had never seen this restaurant. Oh my!! We really must have tunnel vision. Lol!! They were really busy, but it didn’t take long for a table to open up. Our waitress was very sweet. Our food was good and prepared just the way we like it. I had a ground beef steak, baked potato, & onion rings. It was all delicious! Went there last night, the night of the daughter/ daddy dance. There were may 15 people in the dining room but we walked on back to the bar area where there was maybe 15 people plus one large table full if dad's with the daughter. We came in about 6 pm . We did get our drinks pretty quick within 15 minutes. Finally at about 7 we ask for a menu. About 7:20 we had to tell them we were ready to order. At about 8/8:15 we received our food. FYI if your a desert person the skillet cookie is a 20 min prep time. I guess we should have ordered desert as we received all of our entrees and had to ask where our salads were. Have continued to give it a shot at redemption but we end up eating cold food every time. When ordering appetizers bring those wait a few minutes then bring the salads wait a few then bring entrees. We are getting all are food at once. Most of the time missing something.
We had a great time just enjoying the Bishop’s company in a relaxed atmosphere with good food and good company, these are the niceties that you get to enjoy when you’re not expecting it. The Lord Blessed us (The Evansville/Hopkinsville District) REAL GOOD and I for one will be eternally grateful! You should’ve been there!
