I went in to upgrade my son's phone. Off the bat I said I didn't want a new plan, and didn't want any additional services, that I wanted to trade in a phone if I could, pay off the old phone and get a new one. The salesman proceeded to quote me a new plan, with an additional line that I would never use. If I hadn't been persistent in asking a million questions about everything, I think he would have tried to change my plan, add a line and give me services that I didn't want.
