I was on a long trip abroad in Europe and Africa. I decided to suspend my number so I wouldn’t have to pay for the service, since they have such an option. But instead, they marked it as stolen. As a result, I lost my connection and was left without service. I had to get by with local SIM cards, which turned out to be very expensive for me. Very knowledgeable personnel, very helpful. And even "after the sale" they stay helpful willing to find solutions for any problem.
People here cant be bothered to help. I got the run around over and over when trying to get a phone added to an existing line. Was told to talk to customer service via phone, while in the store. Customer service told me they did what I asked, the employee there said they did nothing, after I hung up. Ended up having to call back customer service after I got home, who actually resolved my issue. Not great, over an hour wasted - been a verizon customer for decades, their service has clearly tanked.
