Nicole Shields, my customer service representative, was wonderful. She was extremely polite, patient and helpful. She's a great representative for Verde.
DO NOT GET SCAMMED BY THIS COMPANY!! I switched to Verde because I was really excited about a 'renewable energy.' What I didn't realize was after our "contract" time ended they doubled the price. I got completely screwed over with a $1200 electric bill. If you are young and new to home ownership / bill paying - beware! I definitely feel like they preyed on me and that I should have been notified or had to sign a contract at the higher rate (which I would obviously never agree to)
I guess they don't want my business anymore
Called in today as I noticed my rate was four times the price to compare from People's Natural Gas. Was told this was because my fixed rate ended. But they seriously think it's ok to jump it to 10.99 when the going price 2.59?! Customer service said there's nothing they can do and that they sent letters to notify me.
Wonderful to work with, great price, and amazing rewards.
