ROACHES Living here has been a nightmare. For the past six months, our apartment was infested with roaches. We submitted multiple maintenance requests, but the issue was never resolved. Management would claim that someone came to spray, however, there’s been times when I have been home the whole day and no one ever came. Filthy Not one agent walks these grounds to ensure cleanliness. There is garbage EVERYWHERE on property. Make ready trash is left outside of the door until an occupant actually moves in. There has been 2 stoves and a refrigerator OUTSIDE for MONTHS. You definitely get what you pay for. Maintenance is quick for repair and that’s the best thing. Other than that they don’t care for the property unless it’s front office

Got very rough, lied about damages. When we moved in the tenants around us were all decent neighbors. Once MAA took over it definitely went downhill. They never once pressure washed our hallway for years. Police constantly called for domestic disturbances on the same people and nothing done about it, despite management’s knowledge. Great location but… The location and 2 bedroom layout is great. It’s in uptown so it is easy to walk everywhere. The Corner Pub, CVS, Dunkin, Harris Teeter, and 4th ward park are within 2 blocks. The kitchen and living room are in the middle with a bedroom, a bathroom and spacious closet on each side. The kitchen could use some more storage as there is no pantry and there is minimal space for any kind of 2 or 4 person dining room table. The balcony is almost unusable, but it is there. Overall: Decent I have lived here for 3 years. Maintenance is super quick with requests (always within 24 hours). Some tenants leave things (like clothes) strung throughout the property and they stay there for weeks. Pretty quiet. They raised rent pretty significantly every year (over $100 a month). Great area since it is super close to I77. Pool is nice.

Pay for location Pay higher prices for a mediocre building with poor service due to its great location. We've been here 3 months and we still don't have in-unit wifi access. Management has been "coordinating with their complex rep" for over 2 months now and no updates. Moreover the parking garage is always almost full and the spots are tight. Too many exclusive spaces for EV charging. Pros are the location and the community. The neighbors are all kind and respectful.

DO NOT MOVE HERE Property is disgusting, outdated appliances, paper thin walls. Mgmt does not care about tenants. Mold & water stains on the ceiling. Go to the yelp page I posted the mold pictures in the bathroom.
So far it's great! I have been here two months. So far, I have enjoyed living here. Things seem to get fixed quickly. It is fairly quiet, I barely hear anything outside of my apartment. Before moving in Karen was amazing to work with in the leasing office as I was moving from out of state. Since I have moved in, I have spoken to Kim the Property Manager, and she has always been cheerful and helpful. If things keep going this way, I plan on being here for a few years to come.

Do your research first Great location easy access to 290 and a lot of shopping and grocery stores and dining near by. Maintenance guys are really good they strive on taking care of the community and are all friendly. I had one major issue with my A/C unit needed freon once a month and I put in trouble ticket after trouble ticket and finally they had to replace my unit because it would no longer take freon and in the meanwhile they did provide me with a small window unit until the issue was resolved which took about 7 days I ... read more
