Amazing! – I first went to Venus Modern Body Arts to get my rook and lobes pierced by Rob, who was amazing. He was very gentle and did a great job on the placement (they are now my favorite piercings!). Rafael Velez – I stopped by the other day to get a consultation on a tattoo, and before I knew it, I was hopping on the tattoo table. Rafael was my artist, and I couldn't have asked for a better guy to get the job done. He was very professional and friendly. After showing him the design I wanted, he offered different variations on how we could shade and color my tattoo design. Amazing tattoo artist – Had my first tattoo a few weeks back here. My artist was Logan. He was so patient with me!... gentle, explained everything so well, and did such a brilliant job. I'm so pleased with how it's turned out. I've had no problems with it what so ever. The shop is clean and well kept. They are total professionals. And completely talented. I thought their prices were good and justified for such a high level of skill. I found them purely by recommendations, and i will forever recommend them on.
Brilliant tattoo artist and great piercers – I first went to Venus with my husband to get his transverse lobe piercing, and on a whim I decided to get a cartilage stud. I'm a complete wuss about needles, so I was pretty nervous, but Rob was great -- I didn't feel a thing, and the placement was perfect. The jewelry they offer is exquisite, even if it is a bit pricey. Best Piercing Shop in NYC – Venus Modern Body Arts was a great experience all around. Being from out of town i wanted an affordable piercing as well as a reliable piercer. The shop was clean, inviting, and located in the Village. Rob was my piercer and he was very gentle and knowledgeable about piercing. i couldn't have had a better experience. Ask for Rob!!
absolutely fantastic – It was for my first tat and Rafael was my artist. he was really friendly and gave me great advice on my ideas and helped me figure out the best tattoo for me. He was really honest and reasonable abut the price. i actually left my necklace there and he called me to tell me and held it for me until i could pick it up. my tats came out beautifully and i will definietly go back for more.
stuning – After a quick consult Rafael created a custom design and detailed work that is imaginative and beautiful. His design perfectly works and fits within the natural constitution of my body and shape. Ralph Velez – I must say that Ralph transformed by back into a piece of artwork. I could not be happier with what he has created. Ralph is a very talented artist and a great guy. He has done a whole back piece on me, and more on my lower back. He is in the process of finishing the rest of it and I could not have asked for more.
