Logan Aguilar....The Master – Logan, or The Master as I call him is a true artist. His work is original, realistic and completely customized for not only your body, and body placement, but he through conversation and taking the time in getting to know a bit about you, he incorporates who you are in the art as well. He has done all four of my tattoos. The fourth was quite extensive; 20+ hours over 4 sessions. I absolutely LOVE my art. I would not trust anyone else to work on me. He has got me hooked!
I wouldn't go anywhere else – While I haven't had any piercings done at this shop, I have to say as far as tattoo artists go, Logan Aguilar is absolutely amazing. I recently went to him to get my first tattoo and was looking for something realistic, colorful, and original. If you're looking for a quick pick from a handout of pre-drawn tattoos, go elsewhere, because this man is a true artist. Cool shop, great vibe, EXCELLENT staff – This small shop tucked away on East 4th Street in the East Village is a gem. The atmosphere is comfortable and the shop is impeccably clean. I first when to Venus to have Logan Aguilar do a repair on a tattoo. The results were amazing. Logan has a great personality and is very in touch with how you are feeling when getting inked. Rafael= Awesome. – I walked in for a tattoo, and they got me in within an hour. They are amazingly nice and super clean. I got my tattoo done by Rafael, and he was great! I couldn't be more pleased.
Logan Aguilar....Amazing Tattoo Artist. – I have been going to Venus Modern Body Arts for my piercing needs for the last three or four years. Best Body Mod Shop – Venus is the best body modification shop around. I live in Boston, and come all the way down for tattoos by Logan Aguilar. I'm sad to say we just finished my rib piece of 3 huge roses, so I'm going to have to brainstorm for my next. He is the only artist I will let work on my body. Artistic and professional: Rafael Velez – I got my first tattoo - ever - done by Ralph. Not only did he make it perfect, but somehow it didn't hurt either. It was exactly what I imagined; I loved it so much, I went back for another from him. This time I got one of his Taino symbols. Rafael is Great – Rafael was the best tattoo artist I could have imagined to do my tattoo. This was my first tattoo, and I was freaked out. Rafael was totally calm the whole time, and I felt that I could leave at any point if I decided to bail out-- but I didn't. I've had a lot of work done by Chris, which is amazing, and I have to say that it's awesome to see him working at such a prestigious space. I've heard so much about Venus through friends and I think that Chris will definitely add to the atmosphere and artistry. He's a great guy, really laid back and patient, and his artwork is incredible. He's meticulous, fully knowledgeable, and innovative and really helps you to find what you're looking for in your chosen piece. I highly recommend him!
