My best place, over 20 years
Dr Cogbill is great and understanding. He adjust my meds when needed and listens to me when I’m in distress. I will miss him when he retires.
I recently had a profoundly disappointing experience with VCBH Thousand Oaks and felt it necessary to share as a cautionary note for others, sadly I’m not the only one. From making appointments, wait time for appointments, the lack of tact from the intake accessor, to being completely dismissed by the physician. The entire experience was a struggle and they certainly made it much more difficult that it truly needed to be. Hands down the poorest psychiatric care I have ever recieved. I saw Dr Amir for over two years and was overmedicated to the point where I was unable to drive And have noticed great cognitive decline (Memory issues, speech issues, slurring words ,etc.) and I am currently on seven different medications and still having no relief.
