Nice cafe location next to other businesses. I was not expecting the honey lavender latte to be so bitter, and unfortunately was not a big fan. We also tried the Apple Cider Donut which was over $3 and ended up being a mini donut. It was not very good either.
Finally got to stop by Vent in Hamden. The espresso was strong but I personally enjoy a more medium/dark roast. The indoor atmosphere was quiet and laid back rather than lively and vibrant, perfect for studying or doing individual work. Not the greatest place to sit down and socialize unless you sit outside on the covered walkway. We personally sat outside and it was really relaxing and nicely shaded. Another reason why Hampdens coffee spots are known as some of the best.
Quite possibly the worst chai latte i’ve ever had (ordered hot not iced for those wondering). Will have to try the coffee bc I still have faith in this place being good. Kind of a let down though
Stopped into Vent Coffee Roasters for the first time today, and what a great find! The coffee was absolutely exceptional—easily some of the best I’ve had in a long time. You can tell they genuinely care about the quality of their coffee and take pride in every cup. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, and the whole space had such a great energy.
