Lmao this place is a damn joke! I took my car for an oil change, they broke my hood release cable, said they didn't know how to fix it, and then said they didn't know how to open the hood with the cable being broken. Even I know how to pop my hood with a broken cable, joke ass mechanics there, wouldn't be tapping no stars for this place if I could still post a review without it. They do more harm than help..
Recommended by several friends to come here. They were pretty much straight forward and honest on the issues I had. Their work is really good. Definitely would recommend and come again next time.
They were very courteous and helpful.I went in and told them to fix the part of the muffler that really needed to be fixed, and that's what they did. And very reasonable prices, quick too.
I have limited funds, and older cars. When other shops say "replace it all", they say "you only need this!" Always impressed, never disappointed, worth the 25 mile drive!
LOVE THIS PLACE! I'm VERY wary of mechanics. Don't typically trust them. Try to do my own repairs. This place came HIGHLY recommended by 2 people i know, and by two mechanics i visited. When i approached their shop i could see techs working in all three bays. The place is NEAT & CLEAN (which says a lot to me -\-\ if they take good care of the shop, they're more likely to treat your car well too). I've owned three cars since 2007 and I bring 'em all to the Joliet, IL. on Broadway St. location ...they've always done a excellent job taking care my cars . Worst Place Ever ton my car one time and they told me that it was 160 then couple days late I finally decided to fix the muffler abs they said it was 300 different guy. I said mmmm that's not right so I went to a mechanic that I always go to but they do busy that was the reason I took it to Velazquez the first place neways it ended up being 120 and it's good abs going they rip ppl off smh . Ppl make sure it's the right thing cz they told me they had replace the muffler and it was not that .
Although the work wasn't bad. They refused to accept their own coupon said it was up to the manager on duty and he said no! Wtf! And the price I was told changed from 120$ originally and had to pay 180$! Horrible! Go elsewhere if possible
