Today I was denied entry into Vegas Fitness-Centennial from the owner Eric for not having a mask. I guess violating the government orders of having a hearing impairment and my rights through the American Disability Act is OK. I asked for a refund for the month’s closed and the rest of the year that I paid for. He refused. From the Nevada Government website, “Businesses should check if someone without a face covering belongs to an exempted group.” I guess civil rights only matter to certain colors of skin? This will definitel... read more
Business response:
In response to this post many facts were left out. First and foremost "Leslie Chow" didn't enter Vegas Fitness today. "Matthew Tokunaga" did... Strange how a guy with so much to say about "rights and disabilities" didn't use his own name or identity. Weird!! 2nd, Matthew was offered a simple option to bring in a note stating his disability so it could be added to his account for why he is exempt from wearing a mask. He refused and became angry. Unfortunately, in the past 24 hrs many have said they have disabilities too. The ... read more
First off the gym as been closed since March 18th. They decided to charge me double what they normally do for April’s membership fee. During this quarantine I’m not able to work I’ve been budgeting my money as much as possible! This gym has no heart I can’t believe they would do this. Consider my membership canceled.
Unbelievable, I had to move out of state and as I was driving to new state/location and called and asked to cancel my membership and they told me No can do without a WRITTEN letter, asked if I could email and they said no then to top it off they charged me $40 a month on my direct deposit where as I was paying $20. my letter was sent and it is still not discontinued. Not good. Gym is nice although the restrooms need to be cleaned consistently, outdated and water could use a filter. I went there because of the convenience to ... read more
Stop the 30 day quitting policy and charging you when quit before the next due date. Very bad. Lots of machines are broken.
awesome gym not too big not too small everything you could possibly need never too overcrowded $20 down and $20 a month can't beat it with a stick close to home best place around
Clean, no shortage of equipment and friendly.
I wish they would fix their equipment, some machines don't run smoothly & they don't have stairmasters & they have way too many chest press machines & no decline...If they would incorporate better/more equipment for legs & update the whole gym as it needs a few mats replaced & a fresh paint job
Well equipped gym, all you need, not the corporate glam box gyms ughh...Neighborhood gym. Staff no nonsense and friendly , good rates on memberships and personal training ..Highly recommend Vegas Fitness, never over crowded either !
They should have classes here like Zumba and kickboxing or some classes other than yoga.
