It is very unusual these days to find a doctor who is always going to go the extra mile for you simply because she cares. And what she thinks is just doing her job is about 1000 times more than the average doctor these days. She treats you with warmth, professionalism, humor, and makes you feel totally at ease. My husband and I started going to Dr. Prabhakar a year ago. Our appointments would get cancelled frequently and we would have to communicate with the office via a call center. The employees working the call center were often ill-equipped to answer and relay messages. I had to see Dr. Prabhakar’s partner when she was on a leave of absence to simply renew my prescriptions. I scheduled an appt in December of 2022 because she was highly recommended. I wasn’t able to get an appt until March 2023. A few weeks before my appt the office called me and told me the Dr would be out of the office until May. I asked to reschedule and was told I would have to wait until June. Because that would be 6 months from when I first scheduled an appt I was somewhat hesitant. I asked if this would happen again and was told no. I have been with Dr. Prabhakar for may years and followed her from Graybill, to Sharp, back to Graybill. Outstanding Doc! In the past communication and scheduling have always been quick and direct until lately, not sure if it is Graybill operating procedures, but it is extremely hard to get in touch with the office and even harder to make appointments. She has been my primary care physician for 15 years, and I wouldn't think of changing. Extremely bright, knowledgeable, caring, thorough and attentive.
I’ve found in Dr. Prabhakar all the attributes that I want my primary doctor to be. I’ve been under her care for many years and I’m glad to know that she’s still in San Diego and will be moving to the new Graybill Medical Group/4S Ranch Medical Center August 11, 2021.

She is the best Dr I have ever had. She cares, she is so knowledgeable. She always listen and her nurse is amazing as well. I fully recommend her.
Dr. Prabhakar is the best! She always makes time for me no matter what. Her assistant Francine is always on top of things, check the follow my health emails. Dr. Prabhakar is friendly and I feel comfortable telling her all my symptoms and most importantly she takes her time and never rushes me. I have recommended her to many family members and friends. So glad she is my primary.
