Honestly don't come here ever. Unless your pet is dying and this is the only place open nearby, stay away. I have been a client of the VCA for years now and every time I take my pets there, I regret it. Most recently, I brought in my puppy that was practically screaming in pain and the nurse was extremely rude, took her sweet time to treat her, and acted as if my dog's pain was of no concern to her. Furthermore, they charged us $1700 for a procedure that they had to redo 3 times without success. After the third, time we deci... read more

One of the worst places to take your pet. It is not only expensive but they don't know how to treat your pet if he/she has an unusual aliment. Some vets look like they just got out of school and don't know anything and treats you like you are dumber than them. They love to coerce you into giving your pet surgery without any real data that says the pet needs it. They also like to give your one procedure, tell you to return next week so they can see how your pet is doing, and then when you return, tell you your pet need other ... read more

Dr. Bianco is fabulous. He's been caring for our elderly lab who has bone marrow disease. Dr. Bianco has provided over a year of good quality of life for our boy, which he wouldn't have had otherwise. He's an amazing diagnostician and is the most responsive physician of any kind that I've encountered. I can't say enough about Dr. Bianco. The emergency staff at VSV are fantastic and have provided exceptional care to all of our dogs, including emergency surgery, day or night. We are so glad that VSV opened in the Valley becaus... read more

Today we had to put down the family dog. We tried to first to contact a mobile doctor so that we wouldn't have to leave the house but none responded in time. We opted for this place because it was one of the few that allowed us to stay with him through the procedure. It was one of the most difficult moments in my young life to date, but everyone there was so nice and compassionate. They brought Duffy to the room we were in and put him on a blanket - we got to say goodbye for as long as we wanted to. When it was time for it t... read more

Confused, but expensive. If my dog was treated per my vets instructions he would have survived. I don't know why so many vets recommend her them, they are horrendous, expensive and I can only guess kickbacks. I see fake reviews on all the sites to offset all the bad ones, you can tell the difference. Run. Fast. Out the door.

My little girl had surgery last week. I was so scared. Dr. Rackear and Dr. Davidson and their technicians were amazing with her. The receptionists were very helpful everytime I called (and I called a lot!). They would get someone to talk to me about my girl and make sure she was ok. Thank you VSV for taking such great care of my little girl. She is doing great now.

I had brought my pet in there a few weeks ago because she was vomiting over and over again when she woke up in the morning. She seemed pretty dehydrated, so I brought her in and Dr. Bianco and Dr. Luce were able to evaluate her and do an ultrasound to determine if she had eaten something she shouldn't. She seemed fine, but they recommended hospitalizing her so that she could become re hydrated on fluids. During her stay, however, she continued to vomit, and she started to have very odd moments where she seemed weak and was n... read more

Top notch vet hospital. State of the art equipment (I know because they gave me a tour of the entire hospital! Just ask.), great staff, wonderful doctors, and amazing service. They really do a great job. They saved my dogs life after being hit by a car.

The doctors and technicians at Veterinary Specialist are heroes. They saved the life of my little terrier who was attacked by a pitbull and close to death. Their surgical interventions and medical expertise made it possible for her to come home. Each staff there was professional and compassionate. Great medical care costs money and pet owners who focus on that and are being critical-I dont get it. Am a RN and know quality medical care. That is what this facility provides. What a blessing to have this 24/7 intensive care vet ... read more
