I love VCA Maple Shade Animal hospital. I only see Dr Leso n again yesterday, she was amazing. I took in my 14 yr old cat who has an eye n ear infection n is losing weight. They took blood n today I found out he's extremely hyperthyroid. Started meds, which were extremely cheap compared to what I've paid in the past for diff meds. The visit itself was very pricey. Thank you to the staff of VCA, they were so compassionate and understanding last week with the end of life for our dear Remy. They were so helpful and sympathetic and we were so glad to have them on this very difficult night. They gave Remy's the best care for the last ten years. I would highly recommend this animal hospital to anyone.
We were satisfied customer for 2 and 1/2 years. The practice was purchased by a corporation and the new medical director has zero people skills and orders excessive testing when not necessary. The front desk and office manager seemed not to care that patients are leaving and told us that they were going to charge us $5 a sheet for our pet's medical records. It saddens me to see Dr. Heller's good name destroyed buy a corporation in the terms of greed.
They have been caring for our animals for many years. I would not take my pets anywhere else. The staff and doctors are caring and compassionate and they know how much we love our pets
