My parents have taken their pets here since I was young and this is where I have taken my pets since I’ve been an adult! Recently VCA Findlay Animal hospital helped me through a VERY difficult situation, in which my cat passed away. She had an injury and VCA referred her to an emergency Veterinary Office (almost like a free standing ER for humans) in Dayton. Unfortunately Susan (my sweet kitty) didn’t make it. I would never recommend this place to anyone. The staff is extremely rude anytime I call to make apts and get prescriptions. Recently, they told me to go to Walmart and hung up on me when asking about getting an apt to renew my cats flea prevention medication. They’re really unprofessional and not welcoming. Sadly the Veterinarians are the same way there. Blanchard Valley Vet Clinic is the only place I’ll take my pets.

I want to make a special recommendation for Dr. Spoon who I would highly recommend any pet owner to take their animals to. She was not only willing to calm me down and see my pup last night for after hours emergency, but she even had a way to make me feel as if Gunner was one of her own. Our darling kitty cat was not feeling well yesterday. I called first thing in the morning and the staff were able to get him in by 9:30 am. He had to be hospitalized overnight as he had a high fever. While he was in their care, our family received numerous updates on how he was doing via text and even received some pictures. I called in multiple times to check the status and the staff were very accommodating. I was able to speak with our vet each time I called in. We called the Monday (June 15) at 11:30 at night because my daughter dog was either had a stroke or a seizure and she told us to take it to either Toledo or Lima because there nothing they can do, she wouldn’t even look at him to see if she could stabilize him, I asked a couple of times for help and she right out refused, is this the type of service you want for your animals? Thank you so much for your kind and compassionate care with our beloved dog Harley! He went there for 17 years. Dr. Jones and the staff were absolutely wonderful during a very difficult time. Harley is as the doctor said "walking in the cloud". Thank you all so much!
after taking numerous dogs to your facility for many years, you failed to show compassion when our old and beloved Woody fell seriously ill and was in pain. I called to inform that he was in our hot garage and couldn't move. You couldn't fit him in to your schedule. SHAME ON YOU. You have lost our future business.
