VCA missed a problem in my dog's digestive tract. HE ALMOST DIED!!! Fortunately a vet at Midnight Sun found the problem but he lost two feet of large intestine.
RecommendedI lost my cat, Rogue, on Wednesday. Dr. Maggie and the other staff were very polite and accommodating with her passing, as well as performing surgery on my mom's dog, Ambush, on his bladder the previous year. I definitely would recommend them to anyone looking for a vet in the Anchorage area.
I had to board my diabetic cat for a month and feel very fortunate to have found these folks. They took great care of her and were patient with her eccentricities. The bill was less than i expected which was a happy surprise! Highly recommended!!
Was on hold for 15 minuets just to be told they couldn’t see my puppy who potentially has a broken arm. Not today not tomorrow. And then hung up on me.
Shortly after arriving to Anchorage, our pup was injured and we really thought there was only going to be one option but Dr. Maggie was able to talk with us about several possible courses of treatment and called us updating us on our Gulliver's condition. Since he has been home, Dr. Maggie and the staff at VCA East Anchorage have made sure to follow up on how our sweet, little guy is doing. I have a lot of experience with vets and this is hands down the best vet I have ever been to. Everyone from the ladies behind the desk, the vet tech, and Dr. Foreman were wonderful with my Rex. They made us feel comfortable and Rex loved the attention (even though he tried to act like he didn't �).
The staff here always do their best to make sure your pet is ok. I appreciate the fact that they’re animal lovers through and through. I only bring my pets to the Boniface VCA. 🐾💕
I am sorry that it took me so long to write this review, since this is a very hard review for me and I apologize for how long it is going to be. A few months ago, my girl Snowball got sick. I thought that she had had a stroke and I immediately brought her in. We were seen right away by Dr. Lewis. It was determined that she was diabetic and had the vestibule syndrome.
