When my fur baby, my cat Cookie, got very sick very quickly, it was apparent that she was suffering so much that she had to be humanely euthanized. The staff was very courteous, caring, and their bedside manner was better than when I was was in the hospital, lol. But they made her last moments very peaceful. They even placed her in a pretty box, curled up in a sleeping position, and taped the box shut. I recommend VCA Cheshire Animal Hospital to all of my local friends

ZERO stars .... The last place you want to bring your pet if you don't have all the money to pay at once, or at least 2/3 of the money due at the time of the visit. They are NOT willing to work with you, they would rather kill your pet than help it ...
If you have a choice to go here or to the Newtown clinic- go to Newtown. I went to this ER last night and couldn't be more disappointed. My dog needed staples and I specifically asked that they would give her something to help with the pain before they did it, they lied to me and said they would, and at check out I found out they didn't. Not to mention the place didn't seem clean.
I want to thank each and every member of your staff for the exceptional care of my dog at this critical time. Also for doing an outstanding job of keeping me well informed at all times. You are all wonderful and go above and beyond for the sake of the animal and it's owner!
Exceptional care shown to my cat. Not once but in 2 emergencies.
