The last 3-4 years have been a steady deterioration of care. In October, my dog got pneumonia. I took her to the pet ER originally, they stabilized her, and then the following day started follow-up tests at Brickell since we did not know what the issue was yet. This place doesn’t even deserve a star ! I took my German Shepperd which it’s a big size dog of course to this horrible place and I was treated horrible ! They sent me and my dog outside because he was barking at a dog smh. Then after waiting for over an hour, the horrible female doctor was scared of my dog and didn’t want to touch him or do any exams to him. I guess they don’t know how to deal with puppies. Great service, while small building, it is in a great location and amazing staff. At first was a little wary of bringing my cats to this vet due to the size and noise however was quickly won over after my second visit. Not only is it amazing service but they make my cats feel safe and do everything in their power to accommodate your schedule and will fit you in for emergencies.
Horrible place. Refused to provide service. All about the money. Ruthless and deceptive practices.
VCA Brickell Animal Hospital has helped me and my sweet dog bingo countless times, and have offered nothing but compassion, care, and professional handling. They always have several vet technicians at the premises (they can handle simple vaccines or bloodwork on a walk-in basis, so no need to even make an appointment for it).
