Great experience here! My pitbull Pennie has been murdering defenseless plush toys for ten years, but somehow managed to not swallow any plastic squeakers until now. I tried inducing vomit with peroxide and then called VCA for help. Ryan answered and gave me instructions on what do to when I arrive. The office has transitioned to an outdoor “waiting room” in response to COVID. Pets go inside while pet parents wait in the car. I spoke to her several times and she was very kind and helpful. Everything! This place takes great care of our pets. And during this trying time want to say "Thank you" to all the Vet Assistants, Techs, Front desk workers at VCA Advanced Veterinary Care Lawndale. The doctors are great but these people are on the front lines, dealing with worried and cranky pet owners, while still greeting my Allie Mae and other pets with smiles and caring. Professional & clean office , courteous staff . Dr. Wang is wonderful & thorough . Parking good. Specialty opthamology for small breed . Visit was very , very expensive . Higher than a human opthamology appointment . I’m happy with the service but I feel the prices are extraordinarily high . Meds moderate. Fair . When you need an eye specialist high price & all she’s it ! My regular vet couldn’t help my dog enough & couId not even obtain the meds (back ordered ) . Hence the high price .

Excellent care provided when my dog had an emergency. Front office staff and doctors are very compassionate and caring. It's comforting to know they are open 24 hours per day just in case of an emergency.
The vets and staff here are the best. If you need a specialist, look no further. They are exceptionally skilled and caring. I wish they offered standard, preventative care - then I wouldn't need to go anywhere else.
