After reviewing my X-rays, I was told that I had two teeth that were real bad and needed to be extracted. The price I was given was over $1200 without insurance. The next day I went to the office and got a copy of my X-rays and went to Affordable dentures and extractions. There I was told it was only one bad tooth and I paid under $150 out of pocket for the extraction. So please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else for accuracy!
the staff was very kind and efficient; however Dr Gaines was not. while holding my chart he prescribed a medication that I was allergic to. as a new patient he should have been very thorough. then I was referred to an oral surgeon, whom I had to get myself and the oral surgeon said Dr Gaines had asked for the removal of the wrong tooth that was abscessed. After almost a month I finally got the correct tooth removed. Do the research no matter the pain. One thing the internet is good for
Dr. Gaines is a jewel that this community need!!! He was so attentive to my needs. His reassurance for my procedure was so heartfelt. The process was truly quick and painless. When I started feeling overwhelmed at one point he gave me a small break so that I could gather myself and again he reassured me that I could get through the procedure. Had two tooth extractions last year felt all the pain wasn’t number right and a piece of tooth was left in my mouth terrified to go back
Dr. Gaines himself was excellent. However, whoever was responsible for scheduling my appointment was terrible. I was given an appointment for the 13th of October, however, on October 1st, I received a call asking me to verify an appointment for the 4th. , Which didn't give me enough time to schedule a ride through medicare. That's bad business when you consider the fact that you are accessed a hundred dollar payment for missing an appointment . I have been trying to call to cancel appointment for the 4th, so far no answer.
