I won't go back. – I went to Max at the Morehead location several times. Loved the friendly, casual salon and loved the way I looked when I left. Unfortunately, something was lost with the move to SouthPark. Max seemed distracted, too interested in chatting up other clients while I was in his chair. I was about 10 minutes late due to traffic (I called to let them know) and he used that as an excuse to hand me off to his assistant for the blowdry. I felt like I was in the way!! Best Salon at Both Locations – I have been a client at Varji for quite a while, and have seen many stylist. I have never seen a team that works so well together, they are more like a family. I was nervous about the new salon and how things would work, but after my recent first visit to south park I am totally IMPRESSED!!!! Awesome cut, color and service, so-so waxing and tweezing – Max and his staff are amazing, everyone is really friendly, the new salon is absolutely beautiful, and everyone was very receptive and attentive. I loved my color, it looked natural and not streaked like lots of places can be...i also had a bikini wax and eyebrow tweezing, which was less than par...I'm very particular about my eyebrows, so when they came out thinner than I wanted and in my opinion uneven, i was less than pleased. Great Atmosphere, Friendly Staff, Wonderful Results – The New Southpark Location is absolutely fabulous! I never would have imagined it would be as well put together as it is. Everyone there was very friendly and they worked very well together. You could tell there was a chemistry between everyone and that they definately helped each other out. Amazing Experience! – I just recently moved down here from New York and didn't think that I would be able to find a salon that was like the one I went to for the past 6 years but then one of my friends gave me a gift card to try Varji & Varji... She insisted that I also try the spa so I walked out of the beautiful salon with the best facial I have ever had and my hair looked better than it has in years!!! Horrific experience in Southpark – Went in for a color and trim. The lightening in the salon was so bad I had to go outside to see the color. Spent three hours changing the color only to have another salon fix the color the next day. The trim turned into all new chunky layers that will take several cuts to undue. Overall a very bad experience.

New salon, getting there – The new space at Southpark is amazing, but I had to wonder what happened to all the experienced stylists that were on Morehead. I had to use someone new as it seems most of the former stylists are gone. She was friendly, yet seemed inexperienced, the cut and color were good, but not great. The size of the salon seems huge compared to the number of people working there. Overall I think they will get it together, but I miss the quaint and personal salon that was on Morehead.

Fab Spa and Best Aesthetician in the State! – First of all, the spa area is just lovely. It is a quiet Oasis, separate from the high-energy salon side. Wonderful aveda mint herbal tea and various soft drinks in a fridge are at your disposal. The spa rooms are cozy and warm, with bamboo patterned cabinets and lovely soothing colors.
