Moved to York in 2015 and recently bought a townhouse at Misty Harbor. We went to Varanos for appetizers and drinks to try it out.Great ambience and we sat at the well stocked bar. We met a great couple,Cathy and Vic who are the parents of the owner. By the time we left, we knew about the massive family like we knew them for years. Our favorite restaurant in Wells for many years. Mile Road Rewards program is great!
We have visited Varano's several times a year for 20 years when we travel up from Connecticut. Our whole family loves it! My son thinks the chicken parm is the best he has ever eaten, my husband loves the bolognese and my daughter and I always get haddock and salmon. We have always had great service! We will be back in February and can't wait!
