RecommendedI highly recommend Varano’s Restaurant to anyone who likes Italian or American food. I have never been disappointed with anything I ever ordered here. The food is excellently prepared and the service is great! Give it a try, you’ll be glad you did! We look forward to eating here every time we are in the Wells/Ogunquit area.

Had a group of 8 of us that went here Sunday early evening for a Birthday dinner. Had the Best Chicken Piccata I have ever had (including my own homemade)! The mussels were delicious and the fresh crusted Italian bread and olive oil dipping sauce were so good I could have made a meal of that alone! The Eggplant Parmesan was suggested by our server as one of the most ordered and the portion of eggplant was huge, many places give you more pasta than eggplant. My husband and I visit Wells frequently but have never tried Varano’s until this trip. We absolutely loved it! Our waitress was friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and they have many choices for $15 which I thought was a great price. Will definitely be back!!
Good food, wide selection of pasta & seafood. Nice atmosphere and wide open view of the salt marshes.
