RecommendedMy husband and I ate the Lasagna there yesterday with a delicious crisp salad and homemade bread. It was so good we ate there, today!!! We are hard to please and give Varanos all 5’s!! Very clean and friendly as well!!
The food is wonderful. Hope to be back on our next visit to Maine.
Excellent service and excellent food very impressed
Very accommodating despite not allowing reservations for a large party. Very loud though and service/food were not up to past experience. The veal piccata was very skimpy compared to other plates and was not served as I’d requested. Ate it anyway but disappointed.
We just went on Friday night for our first Varanos meal! It was amazing! I have a Gluten Allergy and they were so accommodating! And our waitress was fabulous! Can’t wait to go back!

My wife and I celebrated last year's wedding anniversary there and came back this year for our 2nd visit the food And service are absolutely top shelf and without hesitation would recommend Anybody try Thank you for the great experience we look forward to coming back again next year
Rude and uppity management. Don't go without a reservation or else they look down their nose at you.
My mother and I ate here for the first time last night. The menu is unbelievably chalk full of authentic Italian Cuisine, some of which it is IMPOSSIBLE to find anywhere around here. The portions are unapologetically plentiful and just smelling the marinara sauce warmed my soul. I will be back until I’ve tried just about everything. Veal Parm, Clam Sauce, Eggplant fries, the Bolognese... the list is extensive and to be honest I cannot wait until my next trip to Varano’s
