Terrible, Terrible, Terrible – I was looking for a new place closer to my apartment to get my hair done. I made the ultimate mistake by chosing this place. I went in for a simple highlight and trim. the highlights are OK, but definitely not what i wanted. she would have known that if she had taken 30 seconds to ask what color i wanted. but the worst part is when she started the cut. i specifically told her that i was growing everything out and to only TRIM the ends. it only took her about 4 minutes to cut my hair, so i assum... read more

Excellent Service, Affordable, Chic! – I started getting my hair cut with Oksana (Roxy) when she was still at another salon. Then she and some other great stylists opened their own place -- Vanilla Hair Spa! What a wonderful place! The setting is peaceful, comfortable, totally relaxing. Great Place!! – I was looking for a new salon since i just moved to NYC from LA,, I passed by this salon and it looks so nice ...I eventually walked in to get a consultaion , I was so greatful for the service and beautiful Highlights and hair cut ... I am so glad that I found this salon . the staff is great ,courteous , good music and some of the girls there are funny too! p.s dont miss the mimosa"s they serve also. GREAT PLACE :)
