Leon is a real professional! – Wanted to join the group of reviewers to compliment a stylist working in Vanilla Hair place. After talking to my co-worker - impressed by her new stylish haircut, I asked for reference and was referred to Leon in Vanilla Hair. Great spa – really like, good spa and service.
Haircut fine BUT bad biz practice – I trimmed off a long section of my hair myself and just needed to get the rough edges shaped (simple bob). I was a walk-in on Feb 5 2010, advertised as $25. Again, no complaint about the cut BUT the stylist did not tell me that "sure" to a blowdry would take the charge from 25 to 57 dollars! This is a very bad business practice of non-disclosure. Unfortunatley, you must have not understood what is clearly posted on our front windows and our website. This perticular promotion states shampoo and haircut $25.00 , this blow style is is not mentioned in this service or included . We take all considerations to any complaints , to achieve customer satisfaction. This does however represent what it excatly posts. There are no miss prints or missleads . just perfect – I live in a small city where it is really hard to find a good stylist, let alone one who customizes a cut/color according to hair type, face shape, etc. My cut from Ilena is unbelievable--I now fear that I need to travel 450 miles every 8 weeks to keep it in shape. She took a great deal of time to make sure that everything was PERFECT--and it is!!! She then talked about color and suggested a different shade for my highlights. Great place.. – I had hair down the shoulders and i wanted to cut is off completely. i went to three places and noone wanted to do it for me and i was very upset about it. One of my friends attends this salon often and she told me that they have great walk-in specials. Great Blowouts – Dennis did my blowout on a whim one Saturday afternoon when I couldn't get an appt. at one of the "high end" salons. It turned out to be the best I've ever gotten in the city---even better than Bumble and Bumble!
Dennis is the best – I was referred to Dennis 4 years ago because I needed someone to save my hair after a very bad hair extension job done by another salon. Ever since that moment he has been my hero making sure my hair looks fab even when I style it and not only when I leave the salon. I love to walk in every time, sit down and just let it happen. nice place – I was sent to Linda , to style and highlight my hair . A friend recommended her to me . The stroe is very pretty. The recepcionst was very nice and helpful. The girl who washed my hair did a relaxing head massage for me .........ahhhhhh..... that was the best! My hair came out fantastic ! I love my cut , and my Highlights look beautiful and my hair feels soft and looks shinny. If you need to have your hair look great , go see Linda.
