At the beginning of the summer we made our trip to VanGuard to just "look"at a car. Needless to say there were so many beautiful cars to see. It didn't take us long. We were hooked. Read this before you purchase from Vanguard! Based on their testimonials, my conversations with Tom, and positive reviews, I was under the impression I could trust to them. I was wrong. I purchased a 1965 Mustang Fastback from Vanguard Motors, delivered to me on 07/22/22. Driving it home, I noticed something was off with the clutch. I immediately brought it to Tom’s attention. Quality outfit! I bought a '66 Chevelle convertible about 9 months ago from Vanguard. Had it shipped to St Louis. I had a small electrical problem. I called Vanguard and Greg arranged for my car to be picked up and fixed here locally (at Fast Lane Motors with David Williams--another great guy). No issues since. The car is outstanding and Vanguard stood by their product and didn't leave me hanging. Solid people to do business with.

I bought a GTO 5 years from Vanguard recieved the car and there was issue with the rear tire size- Tom immediately said replace them and sent me a check within a week! Fast forward I traded the GTO back to them on a different car-while I didn't get "retail" for the GTO I also didn't have the hassle of trying to sell it! Upon final inspection of my new purchase they discovered a rod knocking-after further inspection they are rebuilding the entire engine without trying to hit me up for another penny!! I bought a 1976 Cadillac Coupe Deville with 14k miles from Vanguard. While I had reservations about sending a deposit prior to seeing the car in person, after talking with Tommie, I sent it. Through the process, I was contacted by Tracy and Marie, who kept me informed on everything. Ryan, sent me a video just prior to shipping. Corrie, the driver, delivered it when he said he would. I checked out Vanguard for couple of years before I finally decided to make a purchase. I live in California so I knew ahead of time the risks and the trust involved having a classic car shipped from another state without seeing or test driving the car.
