My favorite place in the Boro. Try the Matty T's favorite.
Vandy's was good in 1986. In 2016 the barbecue is a joke. It's all gristle and burnt, in-chewable bark. I literally like the BBQ at Statesboro Dairy Queen better. Their other food is ok, but the BBQ sucks. Vandy's : it ain't what it used to be.

Please go back to the original recipes!!! I grew up on the bbq and have always loved it! First place I would stop when I moved to Atlanta many years ago and would come home. Went in today because I love the chicken with potato salad and Brunswick stew. First off, it was over $13 dollars for this with a large tea! wow!
