The food was fair and the waitress was very nice, but when my husband and I went to check out, he paid with a debit card, he did not include the tip as we left cash for our waitress on the table....but the cashier guy replied to us...that he knew the waitress appreciated getting no tip, especially coming in on a Saturday. This is literally one of the worst BBQ restaurants I have ever eaten at. First off, my waitress only refilled my drink when I asked ( and I was very patient.... 20 minutes too patient ) The Barbeque looked as if it was left out for 4 days on a table ( didn't taste much better either ) I just can't believe this place is even in business. Won't be visiting again.
So full of fat I couldn't eat it, I eat BBQ all over the south, worst I have ever had. I wouldn't feed this crap to my dog.
The food is good. The servers were not welcoming or on task. The young lady taking the to go order did not even say hello today, June 7, 2017 at about 1700 (5pm). The two servers after our order was taken, then started talking trash about other people they work with in front of customers.
Best there is in the southeast!! My family has eaten here for decades. Always consistent; perfectly smoked; great sauce. We always go here when in Statesboro, GA.
