Inconsiderate, uncompassionate staff. No communication with patients for hours. Could care less about your fear of dying. Awful ER on a slow day.

Vanderbilt's customer service is beyond terrible. I have been on the hook with them for over four months trying to get approved for financial assistance. They originally told me to NOT pay abn bills until a decision is made. Recently they sent my accounts to collections. I called and spoke to two customer service people and a "team lead" and they "can't" take the account out of collections even though this is 100% their fault. Do not go to dr mary york. My husband is dead from cancer she didn't cause the cancer but she didn't even know he had the rhino virus 8 days before he died he had a chemo treatment told them he couldn't breathe .assistant doctor or her paid any attention I might not have had long with him if they had paid attention but would have some more than we had.for 6 years he was took care perfect with dr neuss he retired.he suffered awful everybody on ice was awesome she had this well I don't care attitude we were talking abou... read more

Nashville has many places to choose from for healthcare. When I was having a slight emergency, I chose to go to Vanderbilt because I have always heard good things. However, I thoroughly regret ever going to that hospital for service. Being in healthcare myself, I know the standard of care I hold myself to, and this was far from it.
