The Best in Town – I recetly moved back from being on the East Coast for 5 years and am SO VERY excited to have Katie doing my hair again!! I never found someone out there that knew how to cut my hair the way she does. Over the years I've recommended EVRYONE I know to go see her at Vanstrand and will continue to do so until she stops working! I love Vanstrand's friendly atmosphere everytime I come in I'm greeted with a smile and that's nice!!
Great Hair Without a Care! – This is the place to go for great hair! I have never had more compliments than when Traci cuts, or colors my hair. I have been a VanStrand Salon customer for over six years now. I never have to worry about how my hair will look when I leave, or learning how to style my new do. Traci is a true professional; she takes the time to give me cut that will flatter my face and hair type as well as showing me how to style a new cut.
Quality with a smile! – I have had Katie cut my hair before, but when I was in a hurry and saw a new customer special a short way away, I decided to try them. The "special" ended up costing me two haircuts shorter than I like in order to fix what that stylist messed up. I went back to Van Strand and got a great haircut by Tracy! I'll stick to Katie or Tracy from now on! The prices are fair for a very good cut and the service can't be beat!
Excellent Service! – I went here with my 5 bridesmaids for my wedding (which was at the nearby Earle Brown Center) and all of the stylists did a fantastic job!! I had Jessica do my updo and I got so many compliments on it during my wedding. I brought in a picture of what I wanted and she totally pulled it off! I would recommend this salon to anyone looking for a place for their wedding (especially if your wedding is at the Earle Brown Center-you really can't beat the convenience!!)
The Receptionist on 7/23/09 @ 9:30 in the morning – I called for a hair appt. at the Brooklyn Center Salon and the Receptionist that answered the phone on 7/23/2009 @ 9:30 was not friendly at all. I asked if Laura Habeck was working today so I could get a hair cut. The receptionist said no she is not here right now you will have to call back at 10:00 and hung up the phone. great place with reasonable prices! – Tracy has been doing my hair for years. I get a lot of compliments on my hair every time she colors and/or cuts it. Many of my co-workers have started going here. The prices are great and everyone is very friendly. They make you feel welcome the moment you walk in the door! I would highly recommend going to Van Strand!
Great Local Salon – Van Strand is a great salon. My sisters and I have been going there for about 7 + years now. Always flexible to fit us in (even last minute appointments), and they get you in and out quick. They are very diverse and do hair for all races. Very professional and friendly! Definitely recommended!
Wouldnt Go Anywhere Else – Once you go here you will not want to go anywhere else! Tracy has been doing my hair for 3-4yrs now and I never leave dissatified. She does an amazing job, EVERYTIME! I get tons of compliments on what she does and I always encourage all my friends to go here! They can always squeeze you in and give each of their clients the top treatment, no matter how busy they are!! All the girls are super nice and each one are amazing at what they do!!! :)
BEST SALON EVER!!! – Tracy has been doing my hair since high school. My whole family and many friends go to her salon. She is AWESOME about fitting you in! She will stay late, come in early, etc. one time she even came in on a Sunday (they are closed on Sundays) to do my aunt's hair as a surprise for her b-day. She's the best!
