Stopped in at vans today for the first and last time. First, $17 for a 2 meat plate and drink is too high...especially for what I consider not very good Q. The ribs were nice and tender but lacked any flavor at all. The brisket was tough and also lacked any flavor. I imagine this lack of flavor comes from their use of electric smokers and not a real wood fired smoker. The Mac and cheese was delicious though. I won't be back as I make much much better Q at home. The people were friendly and it was a nice clean place.

Continuing great smoked meat and fixins! Smell the smoke while you eat! Nice people behind the counter and in the dining area! I never tire of the authentic choices'
Had a family weekend with my OU son, we are from central Texas, wanted to try some Oklahoma BBQ, and this is the place to get some very good BBQ. My family really enjoyed the ribs, brisket, turkey, buttery toast, and all our sides. Service was great,good job Vans Pig Stand!
Aaaaaah yes. My happy place! Every time we come to OKC we HAFTA stop here!!!!
