Too bad their staff couldn't turn down the transmission fluid change for my 2018 Honda Accord. Apparently the tech put in the wrong fluid, thereby ruining my system. I couldn't even make it two blocks away before stalling out. Took it back in, someone else reportedly just added more fluid, and now the car is at an authorized Honda repair shop. The fellas at Valvoline showed kindness and professionalism to me during my visit. My car dealership was trying to get me in for an oil change but I decided to go to Valvoline where they checked my manual and oil and informed me I was not ready for a change yet. They topped off my washer fluid and said they'd see me in a few thousand miles. Thank you for being honest and taking care of your customer. I will indeed see you in a few thousand miles.
I was declined an oil change because my 22-year-old honda’s resivoir was bubbling. I had previously waited for 45 minutes in 90 degree weather to get my oil changed and was basically shot down because my car was hot. In my opinion I should’ve been offered some time (5-10 minutes) to wait for it to cool down but they seemed pretty happy with just telling me to leave. My go to for routine car maintenance. I came in for a oil change and afterwards my car wouldn't start. I had a new battery installed by a auto parts store earlier in the day. They weren't obligated to do anything. Yet they troubleshooted, found the issue, and fixed it. I wanted to give them money for the fix, but they just said they try to help whenever they can. This location now has my business indefinitely.
They broke the plastic casing that houses my air filter! The bottom snap is broken and one of the top ones are missing. When we went to put a new filter in it we noticed it and the fact that the filter wasn't even in there correctly (which I'm guessing is how they broke it, trying to force it to fit). Why not just admit they couldn't get it back in and have us do it instead of breaking it and not even say they broke it?! I'm disgusted with the lack of intelligence in this crew.
