I was overcharged for an oil change today because the tech claimed that I would ruin my car if I did not get the high priced synthetic oil change. So I got it and afterward learned that this was total bull and a lie. I see another customer complained about the same thing. I should have just gone to Jiffy Lube. Valvoline ripped me off big time. If this post helps one person avoid getting their pocket picked I will feel vindicated. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

They Seized engine on my girl’s car by installing the incorrect oil filter. Offered her 1/3 of the value of the vehicle and lied about reimbursing her for the rental she had to purchase. She has a 2 year old little girl and needs a vehicle. This place cannot not be trusted to do the job correctly or to fix their mistakes.

Perhaps the techs might offer the customer options and pricing of oil changes beforehand (as Jiffy Lube does) as opposed to just changing the oil and charging $90 after it's all done. Pretty slick move. Also they overinflated my tires. Apparently a tech is not certain how to read the pressure gauge. Cost me another 20 minutes of complaining to corporate about this as there is no email address for the site manager. There was no indication that there was a manager on site, assistant or otherwise.
Manager Tim was extremely helpful, showed me everything that needed to be done and was honest, upfront and fast. Thank you! Highly recommend.
