My daughter went in for an oil change and after declining the air filter up-sell, was informed she had black sludge found in her exhaust and they can "take care of it for her." They supposedly replaced the oil, trans, power steering, rear differential and radiator fluids, in 20 minutes, with a cost of $469. The owner Sean Slattery refuses to refund saying she "looked happy with the services on video surveillance" and must have "gotten home and had buyers remorse" this store is dishonest from the top down. The manager went well out of his way to help me after my car didn't pass inspection. I have been getting my inspection done there for a few years now and after today I will also be going for oil changes and ect just because the customer service there is great. He did not have to take the time out of his busy day to help me. They definitely earned my business as long as I live in the area.

Don't go to the Valvoline on Merrimon Ave in Asheville. Unless of course, you want all of the oil to leak out of your car within hours and then to be denied a refund for their terribly negligent work. They put the oil filter back on my car without putting the seal back in, so the oil leaked out completely in a matter of hours.
