In the past years returning from Colorado I have stayed here in 2008 and 2010 simply because it was at the east end of town and I was too tired to look around. .. this place has gone down hill.. The place has seen no improvement that I can notice.. from the parking lot to the rooms ..you do not want to be a part of either.. In the room which, if you ever wondered what happened to those television sets you gave to Goodwill..they are equipped with. I stayed here this past weekend. The room was acutally a very good size and the beds were comfortable also. The gentleman at the lobby was very nice and he even allowed us to look at the room before we paid. We checked several places around the area and this was the best one with a really good price. I visit Amarillo once a month and I will be here to stay again.
