I lived in ada for a couple of years. I was a regular pt at the er for different reasons, most because my primary was scared to touch me or do anything for me. On most visit to the er i was admitted to the hosptial or transfered to a different one. The only complaint i ever had was the er nurses, now do not get me wrong not all of them was rude or mean or just treated me like i was there for more meds. Once up on the floor i got treated better in most cases but not all. Every hospital has issues, OKC, Tulsa, Fort worth, they... read more

first off my wifes water broke and was going into labor. i rush her to valley view and the nurses told me she had to walk in and there was no wheelchair. after finally making it inside the hospital they told us we would have to wait in the waiting room. my wifes water was still coming out everytime she had a contraction. it was a mess and people were staring. i knew she was embarrassed and in pain. after 10mins of waiting a nurse comes and says "sorry about the wait but what can you do its saturday". i of course got upset an... read more

My wife has used VVRH on several occasions, each visit being more horried than before. This past stay will be the last time we use VVRH. Being a patient was like being an inconvenience to some of the nurses. Not all but some of the nurses on the 3rd floor were the most unprofessional, inconsiderate, and hateful people I have ever met. My wife was not given solid food for two days and was not on a liquid diet by her Dr. either. Their excuse was because she was taking phenagren for nausea, they took it upon themselves not to g... read more

Most folks call Valley View Hospital "Death Valley." I wonder why? Could it be great service and smiling faces?

I would like to thank the CNA that reminded me that she had 30 pts every time that she came into my room. I am sorry that I took time away from the other 29.Thank you to the staff for not answering the call light even when the lady in the room with me was having chest pain. This reminded us as pts that our needs were not as important as what the staff were doing at that time.Thank you for not changing my bed or helping me to bathe the whole time I was there. I now know that family is expected to do this.Last, but not least, ... read more

I just wanted to say that this hospital is the worst one I have ever been too. The staff didnt treat me like a person but rather just another chart to take care of. Instead of doing test to find out whats wrong with me you instead went based on what I have had happen in the past. What ever little faith I had left in health care is now gone. So I just want to say thank you for giving me antibiotics for something I didnt have and for saying that the pain I have in my chest is normal for young healthy adults.

This facility was clean and the staff saw to me and my family very quickly. They continuously asked about our comfort and was very informative of the process that we were going through. At all times I felt very comfortable and I never felt nervous.
