RecommendedI am a self proclaimed coffee head...if its single origin and roasted on site, I'm there. I was visiting Tacoma for a work event and searched for coffee shops near me and Valhalla coffee was at the top of the list...by far. I figured I'd give it a shot and was NOT disappointed. Their coffee ranks up there with some of the best I've had. I think one thing I appreciate is that the ONLY do coffee...no pastries, breakfast, etc. You're supposed to be there for the coffee :D definitely will be back anytime I'm within striking dist... read more

Best coffee ever, It simply and good.
I spilled my coffee all over my shirt on my way to drop my friend off at work who is a barista on 6th Ave. I walked in and asked for a towel...the staff instantly got me a wet wash cloth and offered to make me a replacement coffee on the house. This is the epitome of local shop. What a great exp. you made a life long customer. I even brew Valhalla at home!
Valhalla makes real coffee with local beans done fresh as any coffee you've ever tasted. My family and I stopped in right before going to the airport. Tacoma coffee > Seattle coffee
