Avoid! After a partial deep cleaning by Dr. Sweeney’s staff, was informed by another dentist (within a month of visit) that teeth required a deep cleaning (perio scale) on all 4 quads. Dr. Sweeney billed my insurance for all 4 quads (2 quads on day of visit and the other 2 quads on a day I was not even at the dental office) even though all 4 quads were not done. Dr. Sweeney billed incorrectly. Poor communication and improper billing.
After getting some fillings I had to go back 3 or 4 times in the span of 6 weeks to get them repeatedly filed down because she didn't do them right the first time. While they didn't charge for that, they will happily find 100 other ways to get you to pay for things you thought insurance covered. Find someone else.
Horrible Horrible experience. Made an appointment for a teeth cleaning. I had to wait 30 minutes before being brought into the room. Then waited another ten minutes before I had X-rays. Then had to wait another ten minutes before the dentist saw me. She then told me I had to make another appointment to just get a teeth cleaning, which is what my initial appoinent was for. I have admired Dr Sweeny's care for me and my dental well-being since i moved to Los Angeles. I found her office while on a stroll. It has always been the best treatment ive ever experienced. So much so that even after neglecting my mouth for over five years, there was no one else I would trust. My smile I owe to her and her staff that make you feel amazing. Thank you team Sweeny

Dr Sweeny has been great for all of my visits for the last two years and her staff has been super helpful. Probably the least stressful of any dentists I've ever had. You get your x-rays displayed on a computer screen right in front of you as they happen. The ONLY downside is that she doesn't do dental surgeries and a specialist has to be brought in which can get expensive quick.
I am normally terrified of dentists. But her kind face and sweet personality put me instantly at ease. I had her put in my implants and there was no pain at all.
They got me in quickly for a severe toothache which I appreciate but while the Dr was polite she wasnt very friendly or concerned with my welfare. There was an ongoing power struggle between her and her assistant - very stressful aned annoying. procedure was very painful (still hurts! not sure if she even did me any good). It got so bad I was crying and trying to get in a fetal position but she was saying "stop moving! it's very dangerous!" but I couldnt help it because the pain was so immense!!
