I would say: average to good The counter and dining service is average and their dining rooms are typically clean and presentable. The pizza is average to me... in fact I've tasted better from local non-Italian pizza/pasta joints. Meal portions are adequate for their price. Repsone to BP Valerio's is great. I feel bad for the people who sit here and say it's been going down hill since they opened. If that was the case then they would have been closed how many years ago?.. Obviously they are doing something right. Most pizza shops that don't make it close after a year or so.
You can definitely find better Italian in Erie! I know it's a pizza shop but they offer various Italian dishes, subs, and salads. Unfortunately the pizzas are the premade shells with little to no cheese, less than top shelf meats and sauce that tastes authentically dumped from the can. The salads are minimal. The pasta is less than pleasing in everything from portion size to taste. The wings are overpriced and pretty rubbery and tasteless. I love the chicken ranch pizza ! Everytime I go to Valerio's on W. 32nd St. my food is always great and the service is outstanding. Try the chicken ranch pizza and you won't be dissappointed. My parents always dine in and the portions are so big they can make two meals out of one! PROS: Great food and great prices. CONS: Can't get enough!
RecommendedOur soccer team was in town from Ohio and knew nothing about the local pizza restaurants. Placed a very large order and so glad we did! The staff was super friendly, food was fast, and most importantly delicious. Thanks so much! We’ll be back next time we’re in town.

Haven't ordered since April. Kids wanted rigatoni. I called. Got rushed on phone. Asked delivery or pick up. Pick up. Asked phone #. Gave it. Ordered bucket of rigatoni dinner. Comes with antipasto and garlic bread. Told, before I could say anything, last time I ordered cheese sticks and do I want that again. I said sure. Told it would be 20-25 minutes and they hung up. Placed a large order from work tonight that included 3 fish dinners. All 3 orders of the fish was burnt. No tartar sauce was included. We asked for the fries to be packaged separately and they were not and therefore were soggy and also tasted like the burnt fish. Very disappointed and will not be ordering from there again
