High Expectations – I had heard so much praise about this place so maybe I expected too much. The food is good but not as great as everyone says and probably a little over priced. The service is very good and the wine list is overwhelming. I had the fish and even though it was a little overdone for my taste it was still very tastey and filling. Overall, I would return again. Maybe next time it will live up to the hype.

Valentino – There is not greater value for your money anywhere in the world. The food is always superb and reasonably priced and ohhhh the wine list from $40 to $4000 you can always find something great for your taste and your budget and one of the most knowledgable staffs in town

Disappointed – With all the excellent reviews from different sources, I was excited to try this restaurant. The staff, decor and atmosphere is excellent, but i was very disappointed with the food. The wine that was recommended was bland and so was the food I received. My friend's dish was better. Still, with the price you pay it could have been better.

PC Italian food – This is a pretentious restaurant with good but somewhat unsatisfying food. I would consider this "California" italian, meaning the dishes consist of light and small portions. The menu is certainly full of creative colorful entrees, the decor is immaculate and the setting and the service is outstanding. everyone needs to go once – seating was prompt on our reservations. service was wonderful and the wine list impressive. food was some of the best italian i've ever had, which includes dessert. i felt well taken care of throughout the whole dinner, which made the check bearable. the price is high for dinner for two with wine, but if you can afford it, you won't be disapointed. we had seafood risotto and veal ravioli, both of which were excellent. one of the best italian resteraunts in la. very romantic.

Valentinos?? below Olive Garden??? – Anyhow, my father used to dine here 30 years ago. As an Italian, there aren't that many distinguishing Italian Restaraunts out there, THIS is a distinguishing restaraunt. The fresh pastas, the telephone book wine list, the atmosphere . . . terrific. What kind of lunkheads rate this list?? Olive Garden?? F%$#@& Hospitaliano?? You got to be kidding me?? And where the hell is Anna's (Pico Blvd) on this list???

Bad service, excellent food – Did not leave hungry. Osso bucco was top rate. Other dishes did not fare as well. Peasant pasta with sausage and eggplant was solid. But the osso bucco...
