delightful, delicious, divine – I have not been to the restaurant for many years and it is better than I remember it. The food was fantastic, creative, fresh, and paired with the most amazing wine list. The service is very thoughtful from the minute you come in until the moment you leave. We will go back soon.

Fine Italian – If you can afford it this is the Best Italian Food in LA. The only complaints seem to be that it's expensive , well guess what? Quality costs $$$. We enjoyed our dinner last week and it's never been better!

Overpriced Crappy Food – Valentino is not amazing. The food is average at best. It's overpriced and mediocre. I will never spend that kind of money on boring food again. Wayyyyy overhyped. And the decor is super cheesy. There are so many great Italian places in this city. Valentino is not one. Sorry.

Great Food and Service, Great Night, *not* Perfect – Tonight's meal was one of the finer Italian dining experiences of my life. Between the table of five ordering appetizers and entrees, we had about 70% of the menu, most of which was very, very good, though not everything was stellar. Bucatini, green salad, and duck confit appetizers were memorable and very well prepared. The softshell crab lost heat from the cold greens underneath and was average at best. Entrees were almost all exceptional, albeit heavy on the butter and ... read more

Best Italian Dinner this year! – Once you spend 30 mins looking at the Gigantic Wine List your finally ready for the Regional Italian Specialites. The "Old" Chef has returned after a 3 year absence and the kitchen is really on track. Enjoy

Ruined my birthday. – I was treated for my birthday and wish I had gone to C & O, Alejo's or Allegria. I know it's not what most people think of as traditional western Italian food. I've eaten at gourmet restaurants and know what to expect. I went 3 years ago, and the food was incredible and waitstaff good but still slow. Something has changed, the chef and/or his support, management, or owner... it's not the same. The head waiter was pretencious and rude and his assistant barely knew the menu or what we ordered. We waited F... read more

OVERRATED - NOT WORTH THE MONEY. – If you like spending loads of dough on mediocre food and bad service then this place is for you. 3 hours to eat a meal. Women have had births faster than that. I can drive from LA to San Diego in the same time period. It took 30min just to get a menu. And you're in a confined space like a sardine. You can pretty much smell the breath of your fellow customers. This place is pretentious and not worth it. Do yourself a favor and skip this place. The food was not anything special.

User review by kebbyb – My boyfriend took me to Valentino's last night and, although we have been to many nice restaurants all over the world, it blew me away. From the moment you pull into the parking lot to when you are warmly greeted and (without a second's wait) escorted to your table (where you are immediately tended to by about 5 servers) to the arrival of the best food i have EVER had, Valentino's is worth every cent. And you get LOTS of food. I can definately guess other diners would not appreciate kids but for the r... read more
