I have been on a long road with my HS, and I've had so many misinformed doctors, painful surgeries, infections, etc. When I came to Dr. Rivera I was already at my witsend with my current health and the 'care' I was receiving from my primary about the condition. I had relocated from another state and was starting over with my care. When I came to the appointment, the nurse was kind, listened attentively, asked me if I was comfortable with injections; and when she called it 'HS', I knew I was in the right place. I’ve been seeing her for my skin cancer for about 7 years … won’t go anywhere else. Her attention to detail, expertise in excision, knowledge of the latest advances in methodology, and overall “bedside manner” are just some of the fine qualities that set her apart as a superior physician! She is my dermatology for long time since PR. I love her, is excellent and her hands feel like an ángel.
