Great experience! Everything met or even exceeded my expectations and I plan on returning to this hotel when I visit San Jose in the future. Definitely recommended. Quiet and cozy yet still Right in the center of town. Loved that 24/7 open Denny's was right next door!

Convenient and comfortable We enjoyed out stay and it was easy to leave our care safe and sound while we traveled to Molokai. Thank You! Although the room was comfortable it would be nice to see some remodel and freshening up of the rooms.

As with most places at this price you can't expect a 5 star hotel experience. That being said, Vagabond Inn as a whole is a great place to stay, especially if your in a bind. They are one of the few places I know that will rent you at anytime of the night without a reservation. This is great for the bar crowd that just wants a room for one night...for....sleeping.... Of course your not going to get the room service or prestige continental breakfast, but you will have a place to stay. Not like the other 5 hotel in the 2 mile ... read more

I stayed for a weekend while I took a class in the area and visited relatives. Very nice, clean hotel, and the staff was efficient and friendly. John K. sounds delusional as I saw nothing remotely resembling his description.

One of the best hotels near San Jose Airport. Room service is excellent, everything is neat and clean. I will definitely recommend my friends to stay in this hotel.

This place was fantastic!! I absolutely loved it, especially having come from a total dump of a hotel the night before!! Excellent customer service. Really made me feel welcome due to their exceeding accommodations!! Great place to stay in San Jose! Close to the airport too, which is always a plus!

I would love to have a room just like the room that they have here. I can’t believe at first that we are spending reasonably for the room that we got, I constantly check if we are being ripped-off but that was actually the room that we rented. Great services they have here as well.

Great Hotel BUT... – It's a great hotel but if any of you are looking to save some $$ then book it at referer.us/8/GoodHotelDeals They usually have some pretty good deals on there!

Overpriced, stained & torn linens & shady people loitering – I was very unhappy about my stay At the Vagabond Inn. It is overpriced for what you get. The towels, sheets, blanket & bedspread all had stains & were torn. The bedspread literally was falling apart at the seams. There was quite a bit of litter in the parking lot. Speaking of parking lots, for the price I didn't expect to see the undesirable types of people loitering in the parking lot all night. They were drinking & who knows what else. They were loud.
